What an AI automation consultant does

The work has two parts. First, trace the process closely enough to find the real bottleneck. Then build the fix and put it into the tools your team already uses. A strategy deck can be useful, but it does not run your follow-up on Tuesday morning.

I handle both parts. The person asking the questions is also the person building the system.

When it is worth hiring one

• Your team spends hours on work that needs no judgment.
• Leads or tickets go cold because follow-up depends on someone remembering.
• You have bought tools that do not talk to each other, so a person is the integration.
• You know something should be automated but not what, or in what order.

If you already know exactly what needs building, skip the consulting framing entirely and just tell me what to build.

Consultant, agency, or in-house

An agency gives you a team and a repeatable process. An in-house hire gives you long-term ownership. A hands-on consultant makes sense when the problem is bounded, speed matters, and you want a direct line to the builder. If your problem really needs a permanent owner, I will say so on the first call.

How I run it

1. Diagnosis call. Where the hours go, what breaks, what you have already tried.
2. Scope in writing. What gets automated, what does not, and what done looks like.
3. Build. Days, not quarters. You see it as it goes.
4. Handoff or keep me. It is your system either way.

What I build with

n8n, Zapier, and GoHighLevel for workflows, and Claude with MCP tools where the task needs judgment. I use plain automation wherever a rule would do, because a model where a rule belongs is how automation becomes expensive and unpredictable. More on AI automation services and AI agent development.
